We offer our makeup service either in your home or location of choice and also in our salon. Whichever suits you best – it’s your day!
The skill of our artists is what truly creates your look. We believe in using professional only products and that’s why we use Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics. Providing you with flawless makeup, current up to date products and our makeup artists are continually keeping up to date in current trends and fashion. Our artists have extensive experience in photographic, catwalk, film, bridal and formals and are confident you will look back at your photo’s in years to come and be in awe of your beauty.
Not only do we have superb make-up artists but we can provide all your beauty needs in the lead up to your special day. If it is flawless skin you want we can design a course of skin treatments incorporating Microdermabrasion and aha peels to have your skin glowing. Or it may be your tan? We offer flawless spray tanning, providing the best natural colour – no orange look! You can have perfect nails too, using Bio Sculpture Gel, your nails will look so natural people wont believe they are not your own. You may just want to feel relaxed and pampered, we can do that too. Choose from body massage, body treatments, manicures, pedicures and waxing the list is endless. We also cater for group bookings, your whole bridal party can come!

Should I have a trial?
Yes, we always recommend a trial. it is best to have your trial no more than one month from the wedding day. Bring along some of your favourtie photos so we have an understanding of the exact look you are after. If you can’t find have any photos you love, after chatting to our artist you can feel confident your perfect look will be created.
Will my makeup last all day/night?
Yes, however there are a few tips that we give our brides to help our good work along. 1) Invest in a good powder. You may become a little oily/shiny in your T-Zone, especially in summer. A touch of powder will have everything looking brand new again. 2) Lipstick/ lip gloss will certainly need to be reapplied. So having your colour with you on the day so you can touch it up will keep you looking fresh.
Does the Make-up have to be heavy for photos?
No, it doesn't have to be heavy but it does have to be applied properly using the right products. A professional make-up artist knows how to make the most of your features, even out skin tone, make eyes stand out and make sure you look as beautiful as possible and still look like you!
How much time do we allow for bookings on the day?
We like to allow 30minutes per make up and 45minutes for the bride. It is a good idea to add an additional half hour in case something unexpected holds you up such as hair.
Do we come to you? And is there extra costs?
Yes, we can come to you. We will travel anywhere in the Newcastle/Hunter Region however we do charge an additional $10 per person to cover the travel expenses and if we travel further than a 50klm radius from our salon in The Junction we charge an additional $30 flat rate.

This 3 hour workshop will help demystify the makeup Process, giving you the skills and confidence to put your best, most fashionable face forward. This workshop is designed for you to learn makeup application by applying on yourself under the supervision of a napoleon perdis trained makeup artist. You will be educated on priming, the basics of foundation application, contouring and highlighting, eye and lip techniques for day and night. You will leave feeling confident and ready to be professionally made-up for any occasion.

Our fabulous makeup artists/beauty therapists can provide the same exceptional services for Formals/Debutante Balls as we offer our brides. A trial however is not necessary unless you really want one! Don't forget we can do your tanning, nails and even treat any break out or skin concerns. |

I couldn’t have been happier with my makeup on our wedding day. Marilen did such a fantastic job on myself, my bridesmaids and my mum. Our makeup looked just as good at the end of the day as it did when Marilen first applied it. This says a lot too considering it was 40 plus degrees that day!
