 MICHELLE GROVE
Michelle has been a part of the Indulgences
team since purchasing the business in November 2004. Michelle
completed her diploma of Health Science (Beauty Therapy) in 1998
at ‘The Advanced School of Beauty Therapy’ in Newcastle. After
graduating she worked as a manager in a very successful Hunter
Valley Day Spa for almost 5 years before pursuing a career
overseas. Whilst overseas Michelle spent time working in a
London Day Spa before moving on to teach at The London School of
Beauty and Make up. Upon her return home Michelle followed her
dream of having her own business and took over at Indulgences a
short 8 weeks later. Michelle has a passion for this growing
industry and strives to be a success in every avenue. Michelle
enjoys all aspects of this industry both in the salon working as
a therapist and behind the scenes as a business owner.
Michelle has many qualifications in this booming industry and
feels it is imperative to keep up-to-date.
In 2005 Michelle completed a certificate in ‘Fashion, Glamour
and Bridal Make-up Artistry’ at the Napoleon Perdis Make-up
Academy in Sydney, and also:

 MARILEN CHEROS
Marlien has been part of the Indulgences
team since May 2004, Marilen initially started as a student
completing the commercial service component of her Diploma, to
then being employed full time when her training was completed in
December 2004.Marilen was promoted to Salon Manager at Indulgences in August 2007 and takes extreme
pride in her responsibilties and care for every client of Indulgences. Marilen previously worked in the banking industry before
following her dreams to become a beauty therapist and make up
artist. Marilen completed her diploma of Health Science (Beauty Therapy)
at The Advanced School of Beauty Therapy in Newcastle. Marilen
Graduated as ‘student of the year’ in Make Up. In early 2004 she
completed a certificate in ‘Fashion, Glamour and Bridal Make-up
Artistry’ at the Napoleon Perdis Make-up Academy in Sydney.
Marilen enjoys all aspects of Beauty Therapy but has an obvious
passion and natural flare for Make-up, especially bridal, and
this shows in her work.

to date with her training in this growing industry and has

 SAMANTHA SHEPHERD
Samantha has been part of the Indulgenes
team since November 2007.
Samantha completed her Diploma of Beauty Therapy at Advanced Careers College in Newcastle in 2001. Samantha obtained the prestigious award 'Student of the year'. Following her graduation, Samantha has worked as a Beauty Therapist in Newcastle and also QLD. Samantha enjoys
all aspects of Beauty Therapy but has a keen interest in Massage and
Facial Treatments. In 2008 Samantha plans to expand her Make-up skills by completing the certificate in ‘Fashion, Glamour and Bridal Make-up
Artistry’ at the Napoleon Perdis Make-up Academy in Sydney.
Samantha has completed many certificate
courses in her years as a beauty therapist. Including Natural Health which is of personal interest. Since her time began at indulgences Samantha has expanded her knowledge greatly in this industry to now also include the following:

 MEGAN BROUGHAM
Megan has been part team member at Indulgences since April 2008.
Megan completed her Diploma of Beauty Therapy after finishing high school in 2004 at The Advanced School of Beauty Therapy in Newcastle.She graduated with the 'students choice award' for her excellence and passion in beauty therapy.
Megan has worked the past 3 years in a very well known health retreat/spa in the Hunter Valley. Megan continues to work in the spa on a part time basis so she can maintain her skills in 'Watsu' (a soothing type of massage that takes place in waist deeep water) Megan is working part time at Indulgences and enjoys the change of environment where she can build a rapport with her clients and show them the care and passion she has for this industry through her quality treatments and care.

 JENNIFER WATSON
Jennifer is the newest addition to the Indulgences team. Starting with us in December 2008.
Jennifer brings with her 8 years of industry experience. In 2001 Jennifer completed her Diploma of Beauty Therapy at The Joyce Blok Institute in Auckland NZ where she also obtained her internationally recognised CIDESCO Diploma. Since graduting Jennifer has worked in salon's in both New Zealand and MacKay QLD. Jennifer's past employers have won prestigious industry awards during her employment which is a true inducation of her enthusiam and care as a therapist.
Jennifer has a true passion for Beauty therapy and is a results driven therapist she takes pleasure in following through with clients and seeing their progressand their obvious delight from getting results in their skincare routine.
